As part of the activities planned by Women Consortium of Nigeria ( WOCON) in celebrating the 16 Days of activism 2020 , WOCON paid an Advocacy visit to Barr  Benjamin Odeh. 

 

We had discussions on the relevance of the Domestic Violence law in the elimination of Violence against women and girls. 

 

He explained that though this law is available but there are challenges on the implementation 

 

He encourages WOCON and other NGOs to advocate more for the implementation of this law which he believes will reduce the GBV cases.
