On 10 March 2026, in commemoration of International Women’s Day (IWD), Women’s Consortium of Nigeria (WOCON) was invited by the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) to speak at its IWD Roundtable. The event focused on the UN theme “Rights, Justice, Action for All Women & Girls.”

 

Representing WOCON, our Director of Programmes, Morenike Omaiboje, was a Panelist and she addressed the topic "Accountability, Gender-Based Violence & Women’s Access to Justice in Nigeria.”
