ONE YEAR IN COMMEMORATION OF THE MISSING CHIBOK GIRLS

Today we all plunge into another ceremonious remembrance of the chibok girls. We religiously murmur a short prayer, wear a red vest and chant but it all ends at dusk. We resume our daily lives forgetting that last month Sola clocked 15, three day ago Ngozi started menstruation and Halima still dreams of being a doctor...they all breathe daily in captivity. we failed them b‎y allowing them spend 365 days in captivity. We moved on and gave up but Fathia did not move on,she is being rapped daily. Sola did not give up she still sings for her freedom. We all owe them an obligation to keep demanding for their freedom. Let's not forget them because our silence means we have allowed violence to thrive and murder a part of our future.

Arise Nigeria and Bring back our girls now and alive
