What a shame another unnecessary death.  But then what's happening to us all? Are we all under a spell?

Did the Federal Government not launch an appeal fund for victims of insurgency in August this year. Did they not raise Billions of Naira on the night of the launch?

What has happened to the huge sums of money. By now should we not have in place gender disaggregated data of IDPs, well constructed temporary shelters,  health facilities, proper feeding programme according to their needs and provision, clothing materials from these Billions collected?

What are our citizens still doing in the deplorable conditions in Chad and Niger? We the Giant of Africa!

I think we need to demand that our Government follows the protocol for the treatment of IDPs which includes humane treatment and compassion.

We cannot continue to watch people who are already traumatised as a result of the violent displacement. need we watch them die one by one.

Please we need to end this nightmare.
