BRING BACK OUR GIRLS!!T IS ALREADY 12 MONTHS GONE!!!

I sleep in cages and wake up in chains

My palms are parched, my lips, dry

My body is broken yet my spirit stays awakened

To keep fighting as long as the sun is shining

My hope is not dead and my faith has not left.

‎I am still waiting for my freedom.

Admist this rain of ruins and false declaration of me

I refuse to yield to darkness and hopelessness

I belong to the future, I cannot be defeated

I am still the-girl-child
