WOCON visited the Ogun State Ministry of women affairs and social welfare and the Federal ministry of Labour on Tuesday, April, 26 2016 to renew her commitment to the empowerment of women and children's right.

We will like to officially announce the passing away of our dearly beloved Mother, Chief (Mrs.) Bisi Olateru-Olagbegi who slept in the Lord on Thursday 17th of December 2015 after battling with a prolonged illness .

 The International Organization for Migration sponsored by the the European Union funded a project tagged 'promoting better management of migration in Nigeria' which was implemented by WOCON in two border towns of Lagos and Ogun state respectively. the primary goal of the project is aimed at the prevention of Irregular Migration and Trafficking in Persons within borders hence two border towns where picked at lagos (seme and owode-apa) and ogun state (idiroko and ajegunle )respectively.
