Women Consortium of Nigeria (WOCON) is a nonpartisan, non-religious and Non-Governmental Organisation committed to the promotion of the rights of women and children with United Nations Special Consultative Status.

First we wish to congratulate all the political Parties who have held their primaries and the respective winners of the Party tickets for the Governorship positions.

the market outreach conducted by WOCON in collaboration with the Lagos State Gender Advocacy (LASGAT),Lagos state government Ministry of Women Affairs & Poverty Alleviation and the office of the Public Defender Lagos State to commemorate the one week action on the domestic violence law of Lagos state. it was an eventful one week. the market outreach took place at sura market Lagos island on the 14th of October 2014.
